5:30 PM–9:30 PM
On Friday, we will have our own special section with complimentary food and drinks at the San Diego Padres game at Petco Park!
Here are the key details:
WHAT TIME?
The game starts at 6:30 p.m., but our section will be open starting around 5:30 p.m. We will also be serving complimentary food, soda, beer, and seltzers from 5:30 p.m. to 8:10 p.m. The game will likely go until 9 or 9:30 p.m. which is around when our shuttle will depart back to Loews.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
We have a shuttle departing the Loews tentatively around 5:00 p.m. for the stadium, and then from the stadium back to Loews around 9 or 9:30 p.m.
If you can't make the shuttle, you can also take an Uber/Lyft from the hotel or drive to the game, it is just a short 20 minute drive away.
If you are not staying at the Loews, or are staying in or closer to downtown San Diego, it may make more sense for you to arrange your own transportation to the game, just because parking at the Loews is per day and is expensive. Please contact Justin at justin.sedgwick@gmail.com if you have questions about whether the shuttle is the best option for you.
We may adjust the shuttle departure times depending on RSVPs and guest preferences.
WHERE AT PETCO PARK?
The section is called Baja California Porch (formerly known as Pacifico Porch) and it is on the first level on the left side of the stadium, right about where the third base line meets where the foul pole would be.
WHAT WILL SEATING IN PACIFICO PORCH BE LIKE?
The section will have multiple chairs and tables for you to sit at and enjoy, as well as room for standing and conversation with other guests.
WHAT KIND OF FOOD AND DRINK WILL BE SERVED?
For food, we will have hot dogs, chicken sliders, pork sliders, potato salad, mac and cheese, kettle chips, bags of peanuts, and apple streusel bars. We'll also have veggie dogs as a vegetarian option.
For drinks, we will have soda and these beer options: Bud Light, Budweiser, Sculpin IPA, Swingin' Friar Ale, and Bud Light Seltzers.
You are also welcome to bring your own food or purchase other food at the park.
WILL ANY BASEBALLS BE HIT IN OUR SECTION?
Possibly! Our section is just to the left of where the third base line meets the foul pole, so it may happen a foul ball is hit in or near our area, or a home run ball will hit a wall and bounce into our area. So please be cautious and alert!
I CAN'T BE THERE RIGHT WHEN IT STARTS. CAN I STILL GO?
Yes! You don't need to be there right at 5:30, that is just when we will start serving food and drinks. Just let us know that you're 100% going and we will send you a ticket, even if you show up a bit later.
I'M NOT SURE IF I OR MY PARTY CAN GO. SHOULD I STILL RSVP YES?
Please indicate Maybe when filling out your RSVP and how many people you think may want to go to the game. If you then confirm you or other members in your party are able to go, you can contact Justin regarding tickets. But please do not RSVP yet until you are 100% sure you can go.
ARE KIDS ALLOWED?
Yes! If you are bringing children, just make sure to include them in your total party when RSVPing.
HOW DO I RSVP AND GET A TICKET?
When filling out your wedding RSVP, please indicate Yes, No, or Maybe if you are attending the game and how many people are going. Please also indicate if you will be using our shuttle service to the game.
If you respond Yes, Justin will contact you and provide you your tickets as the game approaches.
I ALREADY RSVP'D BUT NEED TO UPDATE. CAN I STILL DO THAT?
Yes! If you initially RSVP'd no but your plans changed and there are still tickets available, we can allocate some for you. If you initially RSVP'd yes but can't go anymore, no worries. Just email Justin at Justin.Sedgwick@gmail.com and he can help accommodate you with any changes.
